1. Over de app

TypeNote is een notitieboek-app om in te schrijven, te tekenen en foto's en stickers op te plakken. De app is van Brink Digital Solutions, de eenmanszaak van Maikel van den Brink, Houtmolenstraat 36, 4105 XK Culemborg, KvK 42214394. Je notities zijn van jou: TypeNote heeft geen account, geen eigen server, geen advertenties en geen analytics of tracking. Wij ontvangen geen gegevens van je.

2. Wat op je toestel blijft

• Je notitieboeken: alles wat je schrijft, tekent of opplakt (tekst, tekeningen, foto's, stickers en je eigen handschrift-lettertype) wordt alleen op je toestel opgeslagen. De automatische cloud-back-up van Android staat uit voor deze app.
• Foto's: je kiest ze zelf via de fotokiezer van Android of maakt ze met de camera. De app krijgt alleen de foto's die je kiest en bewaart een kopie in het notitieboek.
• Stickers van een foto: de app knipt de foto op je toestel uit met Google ML Kit (via Google Play-services). De foto wordt daarvoor niet naar een server gestuurd.
• Locatie (optioneel, standaard uit): alleen als je in Instellingen "Locatie bewaren" aanzet, vraagt de app om je grove locatie en slaat die bij een pagina op. Die locatie blijft op je toestel.

3. Wat de app verstuurt

• Google Drive-back-up (optioneel): zet je dit aan, dan meld je je aan met je Google-account en zet de app een back-up in de verborgen app-map van jouw eigen Google Drive. Die back-up is vooraf op je toestel versleuteld (AES-256) met een wachtwoordzin die alleen jij kent. Zonder die wachtwoordzin kan niemand de inhoud lezen, wij ook niet. De app ziet alleen haar eigen back-upbestand, niet je andere bestanden. Voor Drive geldt ook het privacybeleid van Google.
• Google Play-services: voor het uitknippen van stickers kan Play-services het benodigde model downloaden en, volgens Google, beperkte technische gegevens (zoals toestelmodel en prestaties) verzamelen om de dienst te laten werken.
• Exporteren naar een bestand: jij kiest waar het bestand komt.

4. Toestemmingen

De app vraagt een toestemming pas als je een functie aanzet. Alleen voor "Locatie bewaren" vraagt TypeNote om je grove locatie. Voor foto's gebruikt de app de fotokiezer en de camera-app van Android, daarvoor is geen toegang tot je hele galerij of camera nodig. Internet gebruikt de app alleen voor de Drive-back-up.

5. Delen en verwijderen

Er wordt niets verkocht of gedeeld. Verwijder je de app, dan verdwijnen alle gegevens van je toestel. Zet je de Drive-back-up uit in Instellingen → Back-up, dan maakt de app geen nieuwe back-ups meer. De bestaande verwijder je in Google Drive via Instellingen → Apps beheren → TypeNote → Verborgen app-gegevens verwijderen.

6. Kinderen

De app verzamelt van niemand persoonsgegevens, ook niet van kinderen.

TypeNote: privacy policy

1. About the app

TypeNote is a notebook app to write and draw in and to stick photos and stickers into. The app is made by Brink Digital Solutions, the sole proprietorship of Maikel van den Brink, Houtmolenstraat 36, 4105 XK Culemborg, the Netherlands (Dutch Chamber of Commerce 42214394). Your notes are yours: TypeNote has no account, no server of its own, no ads and no analytics or tracking. We receive no data from you.

2. What stays on your device

• Your notebooks: everything you write, draw or stick in (text, drawings, photos, stickers and your own handwriting font) is stored only on your device. Android's automatic cloud backup is turned off for this app.
• Photos: you choose them with Android's photo picker or take them with the camera. The app only gets the photos you pick and keeps a copy in the notebook.
• Stickers from a photo: the app cuts out the photo on your device with Google ML Kit (through Google Play services). The photo is not sent to a server for this.
• Location (optional, off by default): only if you turn on "Save location" in Settings does the app ask for your approximate location and store it with a page. It stays on your device.

3. What the app sends

• Google Drive backup (optional): if you turn this on, you sign in with your Google account and the app stores a backup in the hidden app folder of your own Google Drive. It is encrypted on your device first (AES-256) with a passphrase only you know. Without it nobody can read the backup, us included. The app only sees its own backup file, not your other files. Google's privacy policy also applies to Drive.
• Google Play services: to cut out stickers, Play services may download the model it needs and, according to Google, collect limited technical data (such as device model and performance) to run the service.
• Export to a file: you choose where the file goes.

4. Permissions

The app asks for a permission only when you turn on a feature. TypeNote asks for your approximate location only for "Save location". For photos the app uses Android's photo picker and camera app, so it needs no access to your whole gallery or camera. The app uses the internet only for the Drive backup.

5. Sharing and deletion

Nothing is sold or shared. Uninstalling the app removes all its data from your device. Turning off Drive backup in Settings → Backup stops new backups. Delete the existing one in Google Drive via Settings → Manage apps → TypeNote → Delete hidden app data.

6. Children

The app collects no personal data from anyone, children included.

Die App stammt von Brink Digital Solutions, dem Einzelunternehmen von Maikel van den Brink, Houtmolenstraat 36, 4105 XK Culemborg, Niederlande (niederländische Handelskammer 42214394). Deine Notizen gehören dir: TypeNote hat kein Konto, keinen eigenen Server, keine Werbung und keine Analyse oder Nachverfolgung. Wir erhalten keine Daten von dir.

2. Was auf deinem Gerät bleibt

• Deine Notizbücher: Alles, was du schreibst, zeichnest oder einklebst (Text, Zeichnungen, Fotos, Sticker und deine eigene Handschrift-Schrift), wird nur auf deinem Gerät gespeichert. Die automatische Cloud-Sicherung von Android ist für diese App ausgeschaltet.
• Fotos: Du wählst sie mit der Fotoauswahl von Android oder nimmst sie mit der Kamera auf. Die App erhält nur die Fotos, die du auswählst, und speichert eine Kopie im Notizbuch.
• Sticker aus einem Foto: Die App schneidet das Foto auf deinem Gerät mit Google ML Kit (über die Google Play-Dienste) aus. Das Foto wird dafür nicht an einen Server gesendet.
• Standort (optional, standardmäßig aus): Nur wenn du in den Einstellungen „Standort speichern“ einschaltest, fragt die App nach deinem ungefähren Standort und speichert ihn bei einer Seite. Er bleibt auf deinem Gerät.

3. Was die App sendet

• Google Drive-Sicherung (optional): Wenn du dies einschaltest, meldest du dich mit deinem Google-Konto an, und die App legt eine Sicherung im versteckten App-Ordner deines eigenen Google Drive ab. Sie wird vorher auf deinem Gerät verschlüsselt (AES-256), mit einer Passphrase, die nur du kennst. Ohne sie kann niemand die Sicherung lesen, auch wir nicht. Die App sieht nur ihre eigene Sicherungsdatei, nicht deine anderen Dateien. Für Drive gilt auch die Datenschutzerklärung von Google.
• Google Play-Dienste: Zum Ausschneiden von Stickern können die Play-Dienste das benötigte Modell herunterladen und laut Google begrenzte technische Daten (etwa Gerätemodell und Leistung) erheben, um den Dienst bereitzustellen.
• Export in eine Datei: Du wählst, wo die Datei gespeichert wird.

4. Berechtigungen

Die App fragt erst nach einer Berechtigung, wenn du eine Funktion einschaltest. Nur für „Standort speichern“ fragt TypeNote nach deinem ungefähren Standort. Für Fotos nutzt die App die Fotoauswahl und die Kamera-App von Android und braucht daher keinen Zugriff auf deine ganze Galerie oder die Kamera. Das Internet nutzt die App nur für die Drive-Sicherung.

5. Weitergabe und Löschung

Nichts wird verkauft oder weitergegeben. Beim Deinstallieren der App werden alle ihre Daten von deinem Gerät entfernt. Schaltest du die Drive-Sicherung unter Einstellungen → Sicherung aus, entstehen keine neuen Sicherungen mehr. Die bestehende löschst du in Google Drive über Einstellungen → Apps verwalten → TypeNote → Versteckte App-Daten löschen.

6. Kinder

Die App erhebt von niemandem personenbezogene Daten, auch nicht von Kindern.
